Barnes 3SE series horizontal discharge submersible non-clog pumps feature heavy-duty, cast-iron construction with stainless steel hardware. Double-seal units are equipped with temperature sensors and moisture sensors as standard for connection to relay (s) in control panel. Oversized ball bearings are designed for more than maximum pump loads, and are lubricated for the life of the pump.

Choose Barnes Pumps For Heavy-Duty Construction, Rugged Reliability And Proven Performance
Barnes offers a broad line of engineered submersible sewage ejector and engineered non-clog submersible pumps for a wide variety of relatively light through heavy-duty wastewater services. American made and designed specifically for unscreened raw sewage or industrial waste applications, Barnes pumps are available in 2 in. (50 mm) through 8 in. (200 mm) discharge sizes and can handle spherical solids up to 4 in. (100 mm).

Offered in vertical and horizontal discharge models with a choice of impeller and motor designs, Barnes submersible pumps deliver efficient hydraulic coverage with heads to 258 ft. (79 m) and capacities to 5,400 gpm (1,227 m³/h) at 104°F (40°C) continuous media temperature. Because motors are completely sealed against contaminants, and bearings are lubricated for the life of the pump, overall maintenance and operating costs can be significantly reduced.

  • Sump is outside of the building and no above-ground appendage is practical.
  • Overhead clearance is not sufficient to allow for standard vertical column units, such as stairways, underground tunnels, underpasses, etc.
  • Power failures may cause flooding of pump chamber, damaging standard open-type motors.
